Action on Elder Abuse

 
 

Action on Elder Abuse operate the UK and Ireland's only national, free phone helpline for anyone concerned in any way about the abuse of older people. Although it cannot provide legal advice, it can provide information on the nature of elder abuse and indicate what action might be taken in response to abuse or to prevent it.

Age UK - Mental Health Advocacy

 
 

This is a free independent advocacy service offered to people with mental health problem who are aged 65 or over, or adults with a formal diagnosis of early onset dementia. The advocacy service supports people to express their views and wishes, secure their rights and have their interests represented. We accept referrals from the person themselves or anyone who knows them, with their agreement.

Cambridge Shopmobility

 
 

Shopmobility gives everyone with a mobility problem access to shopping and other services in the city centre. There are two Shopmobility centres in Cambridge, one at the Grand Arcade car park, and the other at the Grafton East car park. Shopmobility offices are open Monday to Saturday, 10am-4pm. The Grafton office is also open 11am-5pm on Sundays. You do not need to be a Blue Badge holder to use this scheme. To book a service or appointment please call the Grand Arcade or Grafton office.
