This is a free independent advocacy service offered to people with mental health problem who are aged 65 or over, or adults with a formal diagnosis of early onset dementia. The advocacy service supports people to express their views and wishes, secure their rights and have their interests represented. We accept referrals from the person themselves or anyone who knows them, with their agreement.

We also have 3 Information Officers who are committed to finding the answers to your questions. We work with older people to make sure they are consulted and involved when organisations are planning and delivering services. We campaign with and on behalf of older people on matters of concern.

CECF provides a cultural diversity service that helps promote an understanding between people from different ethnic groups and help them be a natural part of Cambridge life. At MAC we offer free, confidential advice to help you get out and stay out of debt. We serve the people of the city of Cambridge, and our offices are at Barnwell Baptist Church. Our advisers are fully trained to provide debt advice and have a wealth of experience between them. All of them are volunteers and represent many churches in Cambridge.

The Advocacy Service supports people who have mental health problems to speak up for their rights, either individually or as a group. The service is free, independent and confidential. It is for people aged 18-65 years living in Cambridgeshire. They can also provide support in practical ways such as helping with benefits, housing, difficulties with their employer, matters to do with divorce and the family, other legal issues, debt and rights under the Mental Health Act.

Cambridgeshire LINk is a new Government initiative made up of people, organisations and communities with an interest in health and social care. A LINk is established in England by every local authority responsible for social services. Cambridgeshire LINk will look at all aspects of NHS and social services, except most children's social care services (which are monitored in different ways).

Cambridgeshire.net aims to provide residents and communities in Cambridgeshire with easy online access to local information and services. Being able to find out what is happening locally helps people to get involved and build networks around their interests. The website currently includes a database of over 4500 community organisations in the county and an A-Z of Local Public Services provided by local authorities and other partners.

Carers give so much to society yet as a consequence of caring, they experience ill health, poverty and discrimination. Carers UK is an organisation of carers fighting to end this injustice.
