Addaction works with people who have problems with drugs. They offer information and advice on preventing relapses in drug taking, and can prescribe substitute medication where relevant. They also offer a needle exchange program.

Cambridge Rape Crisis

 
 

We talk to all women and girls who have suffered sexual violence or abuse. We also welcome calls from women or men who want to talk about their role in supporting women, whether they are family, friends, or health professionals. The phone line is open every Wednesday evening from 7.30-9.30pm. Calls are charged at a local rate, if however you would like us to call you back we will happily do so. The number on which we return your call will not appear on any phone records.

Cambridge CRUSE is a branch of the national organisation and works with anyone who has been bereaved. Cruse provides help for bereaved people in the Huntingdon health area. Free one-to-one counselling is available by trained counsellors. Support is also offered through social events and drop-ins in St. Ives, Huntingdon and St. Neots and you are welcome to call in for a chat and a coffee. The service is available for children as well as adults, and the counselling is provided by visiting people in their homes.
