Access to Work scheme

The Access to Work scheme is designed to help disabled people at work. Access to Work can help you if your health or disability affects the way you do your job. It gives you and your employer advice and support with extra costs which may arise because of your needs. Access to Work might pay towards the equipment you need at work, adapting premises to meet your needs, or a support worker.

Addenbrookes Hospital Voluntary Services

Volunteers at Addenbrooke's Hospital provide an invaluable service, and are a great asset. They help us make life easier for both our patients and their families, by supporting our staff in providing a direct service to patients, or by helping out behind the scenes. Each year, 700 volunteers give up their free time on a regular basis to help patients throughout Addenbrooke's.
